Day-to-day observations of art handling, construction, and installation methods made by the preparator. Visiting galleries for demo and installation days. Assisting with color paint samples and call-outs for wall changes. Observing supervisor meetings with museum curators to establish upcoming exhibit layout, colors, traffic, and materials. Learning how the Vectorworks program is used for presentation meetings. Organizing a case inventory. Assisted with vinyl installation for Mary Sibande and Medieval Bologna exhibition.
